You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done to the extent that it is technically feasible.

  • If the processing of your personal data was or is unlawful, you may request the restriction of the data processing instead of deletion.
  • If we no longer need your personal data but you need it to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
  • If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

SSL / TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. 4. Data collection on this website

Cookies

Our web pages use so-called „cookies“. Cookies are small data packages and do not cause any damage to your device. They are stored on your device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). Session cookies are deleted automatically at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or until they are deleted automatically by your web browser.

Cookies may originate from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services provided by third-party companies within web pages (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).

Cookies serve various functions. Numerous cookies are technically necessary because certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies may be used to evaluate user behaviour or for advertising purposes.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions that you have requested (e.g. for the shopping cart function) or to optimise the website (e.g. cookies for measuring the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is stated. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. Where consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of that consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG); consent may be withdrawn at any time.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

You can find out which cookies and services are used on this website in this privacy policy and in our cookie banner (Complianz).

Complianz (cookie consent tool)

To obtain, manage and document your consent to the use of cookies and comparable technologies, our website uses the consent management tool „Complianz“. The provider is Complianz B.V., Kalmarweg 14-5, 9723 JG Groningen, Netherlands (hereinafter „Complianz“).

When you call up our website, a cookie banner is displayed via Complianz in which you can grant or refuse consent to certain data processing operations (e.g. the setting of non-essential cookies, the integration of certain third-party services). Complianz logs the consent given or withdrawn in order to provide the proof required under Art. 7(1) GDPR. For this purpose, the following data in particular is processed: an anonymised/truncated IP address, the time of consent, the type of consent and a unique consent ID. This data is stored locally in your browser and in the Complianz infrastructure.

You can withdraw or adjust your consent at any time with future effect by calling up the corresponding icon on our website („Cookie settings“).

The data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation to obtain and document valid consent) and, in addition, on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in obtaining and documenting legally compliant consent for the use of certain technologies.

You can find further information in Complianz's privacy policy: https://complianz.io/legal/privacy-statement-shopify/.

We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with Complianz.

Enquiry by e-mail, telephone or fax

If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, your enquiry including all personal data arising from it (name, enquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is connected with the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of the enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) where this has been requested; consent may be withdrawn at any time.

The data you send us via contact enquiries remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

ProvenExpert

We have integrated review seals from ProvenExpert on this website. The provider is Expert Systems AG, Quedlinburger Str. 1, 10589 Berlin, Germany, https://www.provenexpert.com.

ProvenExpert also records your language settings in order to display the seal in the selected national language.

Where corresponding consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG, insofar as the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information on the user's device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDDG. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

5. Social media

Social media elements with Shariff

Elements of social media are used on this website (e.g. Facebook, X, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn).

You can usually recognise the social media elements by the respective social media logos. In order to ensure data protection on this website, we use these elements only together with the so-called „Shariff“ solution. This application prevents the social media elements integrated on this website from transmitting your personal data to the respective provider as soon as you first enter the page.

Only when you activate the respective social media element by clicking the associated button is a direct connection to the provider's server established (consent). As soon as you activate the social media element, the respective provider receives the information that you have visited this website with your IP address. If you are logged into your respective social media account (e.g. Facebook) at the same time, the respective provider can associate your visit to this website with your user account.

Activating the plugin constitutes consent within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw this consent at any time with future effect.

6. Analytics tools and advertising

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Tag Manager is a tool that allows us to integrate tracking or statistics tools and other technologies on our website. Google Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles, does not store cookies and does not carry out any independent analyses. It merely serves to manage and deliver the tools integrated via it. However, Google Tag Manager does record your IP address, which may also be transferred to Google's parent company in the United States.

Google Tag Manager is used on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the quick and straightforward integration and management of various tools on its website.

The company holds a certification under the „EU-US Data Privacy Framework“ (DPF). The DPF is an agreement between the European Union and the USA intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards for data processing in the USA. Every company certified under the DPF undertakes to comply with these data protection standards. Further information on this is available from the provider at the following link: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/5780.

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited („Google“), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyse the behaviour of website visitors. In doing so, the website operator receives various usage data, such as page views, time spent on the site, operating systems used and the user's origin. This data is assigned to the user's respective device. It is not assigned to a user ID.

In addition, Google Analytics allows us to record your mouse and scroll movements and clicks, among other things. Google Analytics also uses various modelling approaches to supplement the data sets collected and employs machine learning technologies in the data analysis.

Google Analytics uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user for the purpose of analysing user behaviour (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

This service is used on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

The data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. You can find details here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/.

The company holds a certification under the „EU-US Data Privacy Framework“ (DPF): https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/5780.

IP anonymisation

Google Analytics IP anonymisation is activated. As a result, your IP address is truncated by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transferred to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with further services related to website and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

Browser plugin

You can prevent the collection and processing of your data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

You can find more information on how Google Analytics handles user data in Google's privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

Google Signals

We use Google Signals. When you visit our website, Google Analytics records, among other things, your location, search history and YouTube history as well as demographic data (visitor data). This data can be used for personalised advertising with the help of Google Signals. If you have a Google account, the visitor data from Google Signals is linked to your Google account and used for personalised advertising messages. The data is also used to compile anonymised statistics on the user behaviour of our users.

Order processing

We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Google Analytics e-commerce measurement

This website uses the „e-commerce measurement“ function of Google Analytics. With the help of e-commerce measurement, the website operator can analyse the purchasing behaviour of website visitors in order to improve its online marketing campaigns. Information such as the orders placed, average order values, shipping costs and the time from viewing to purchasing a product is recorded. This data can be aggregated by Google under a transaction ID that is assigned to the respective user or their device.

Google Ads

The website operator uses Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising programme of Google Ireland Limited („Google“), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Ads enables us to display advertisements in the Google search engine or on third-party websites when the user enters certain search terms on Google (keyword targeting). Targeted advertisements can also be displayed on the basis of the user data available at Google (e.g. location data and interests) (audience targeting). As the website operator, we can evaluate this data quantitatively, for example by analysing which search terms led to our advertisements being displayed and how many advertisements led to corresponding clicks.

This service is used on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

The data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. You can find details here: https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks and https://business.safety.google/controllerterms/. The company holds a certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), Participant ID 5780.

Google Ads Remarketing

This website uses the functions of Google Ads Remarketing. The provider is Google Ireland Limited („Google“), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

With Google Ads Remarketing we can assign people who interact with our online offering to specific target groups in order to subsequently show them interest-based advertising in the Google advertising network (remarketing or retargeting).

Furthermore, the advertising target groups created with Google Ads Remarketing can be linked to Google's cross-device functions. In this way, interest-based, personalised advertising messages that have been adapted to you depending on your previous usage and browsing behaviour on one device (e.g. mobile phone) can also be displayed on another of your devices (e.g. tablet or PC).

If you have a Google account, you can object to personalised advertising at the following link: https://adssettings.google.com/anonymous?hl=de.

This service is used on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

You can find further information and the data protection provisions in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=de. The company is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF) (Participant ID 5780).

Google conversion tracking

This website uses Google conversion tracking. The provider is Google Ireland Limited („Google“), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

With the help of Google conversion tracking, Google and we can recognise whether the user has carried out certain actions. For example, we can evaluate which buttons on our website were clicked how often and which products were viewed or purchased particularly frequently. This information is used to compile conversion statistics. We learn the total number of users who clicked on our advertisements and which actions they carried out. We do not receive any information that would allow us to identify the user personally. Google itself uses cookies or comparable recognition technologies for identification.

This service is used on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

You can find more information on Google conversion tracking in Google's data protection provisions: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de. The company is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF) (Participant ID 5780).
