Unlike earlier processes, this newer printing method is notable for the stability and long life of the design. A dishwasher is no problem at all for printed ceramic. Some suppliers of photo prints on mugs do point out, however, that it can help the durability of the design to bake the mug in the oven at 160 °C for a few minutes before using it for the first time.
